This is one of those ‘am I too old?’ moments that I’m having far too often now. I like Kaiser Chiefs' music, but they formed long after any illusions of youth had left me. That means most of the audience at a gig would be far, far younger than me, so do I really want to win tickets to see them?Click for all this week’s comps
And while we are talking about going to see live music there are also tickets for ABBA Voyage up for grabs. Now I secretly also like Abba but I’m not sure if I like the idea of going to see holograms sing - far too close to Logan’s Run for my liking (for those with the age and maturity to remember Logan’s Run).
The colder weather increases the number of holiday comps I enter and there are some great ones this week including a trip to Goa, India for two, £2,500 towards a holiday, a trip to Italy, a four-night trip for two to Nashville, a five-night golf trip to Madeira and a 14-night P&O cruise holiday for two worth £4,000.
Plus, there’s another comp that’s left me with a query. I’ve always been put off Australia by the number of snakes they seem to have (and when you add in the spiders, crocodiles, jellyfish and sharks), it’s never made it onto my list of places to visit. But when it includes two tickets to the first Lions Test, I’m reconsidering.
If you are looking for things to do with the family over the festive period there’s a chance to win a family ticket to Aladdin at Blackpool Grand Theatre and a family festive break at Alton Towers Resort this Christmas. Or leave the kids at home for a VIP experience at The Nutcracker with the Royal Opera House.
There’s also a £5,000 Curry’s gift card on offer and the ultimate Christmas present for yourself - a Porsche Taycan 4 Cross Turismo worth £100,074.
