Do not pass Go, go straight to jail, it does feel like that at the moment with Lockdown 2 coming in today. Halloween seemed to pass by unnoticed, except by promoters I should say, they did their bit but in terms of houses dressed up or lighted pumpkins I didn't see any really.
Bonfire night looks like it will also just slip by (unless someone does something with the real House of Commons tonight!) I reckon Christmas will be on us before we know it. So even though it’s only the start of November let's look forward to seeing our trees and decorations up.
We are being told to prepare for Christmas early this year and I think the promoters will be starting their competitions earlier, also there’s going to be a lot of shops chasing your money, so I reckon this year's Advent comps could be massive.
Look out for your friends and neighbours in these strange times and let's try spreading a little cheer...
Here's your chance to win someone a Christmas tree, two £500 gift vouchers, £200 voucher, a sofa and a hamper - closes 23rd November 2020.
Task: You need to say why a certain someone you know deserves to win this once-in-a-Christmastime prize - click here to enter
After Eights are something I always associate with Christmas, we never had much chocolate around the house as a kid and I always remember loving the treats we got at Christmas. And a box of After Eights was always one of these (even if I wasn't sure about the mint taste), older now, I am sure about the mint taste but even I would struggle to eat 18 boxes, so there will be lots to share.
18 boxes of After Eights - closes 11th November 2020 - click here to enter
Waitrose are also offering you the chance to 'have Christmas on them' with a £200 gift card, this is something for you to keep or give away, either way it would make a great prize...
Win a £200 Gift Card - closes 30th November 2020 - click here to enter
Keep your chin up, I don't think this Lockdown is going to be as bad or long as the last one, not sure why I think this, but I reckon I know just about as much as the many 'experts' who keep telling us so many contradictory things.
And if you want to send someone a postcard to keep their spirits up, you can now order them with plain white or coloured envelopes - click here to see all our ranges.
I'll be back at the weekend with a special offer that should help make lockdown a bit more bearable.
Stay safe and good luck.
