I won a signed Arsenal home shirt on Facebook last week so that got my new comping month off to a great start! And alongside a delivery of various comp wins from April it's been a pretty good few days. This week is Sun Awareness week, which is running until Sunday. You may find some promoters run competitions in conjunction with this where you can win things like hats and sun cream etc. So try and keep an eye out on social media for any, using the hashtag #sunawarenessweek will help search for them.
Have you seen the comps listed on our website
this week? There are a whole host of great competitions just waiting to be entered. I absolutely love the Emirates one where your child can get the chance to be a mascot and I rather like the one where you can get your mortgage paid for a month (up to £1,000).
And take a look at the comp I've found to share with you all; how do you fancy winning a stay for six at The Gritstone safari tent in the Peak District where you can bathe in waterfalls, hike in idyllic moorlands and have bonfires by the stream? It all sounds rather nice doesn't it? So if you want the chance of grabbing a three-night weekend or four-night mid-week stay at The Gritstone and a Treetop Adventure with Go Ape then just submit your details here
before 23.59 on 31st May. Good luck!
Now I don't know about you but I have so many loyalty cards now that I don't really know where to store them all! I have a special wallet just for them because I don't want to miss out on the freebies you can get, but having so many to carry around is annoying me! Then I came across something called Stocard
; which is an app that you can download to your phone that allows you to basically store all your store cards! It's free and is available on Google Play
or the App store
. You just present the app at the till and collect points/discounts that way rather than the cashier swiping your card. To get started you scan the loyalty card's barcode into the app which is really quick and easy, the app logs it and you just scan that at the till instead.
I've just saved myself almost £250 by switching my energy supplier. My current one wanted to raise my direct debit by almost £80 a month! There are sites out there that will help you to compare prices such as Uswitch
and Compare the Market
. Both are easy to use and if you end up saving yourself a good amount it's worth the 10 minutes it takes to do it!
Also be sure to head on over to our Facebook page
where you will find a selection of competitions; it's also a wonderful comping community where you can chat to other compers and share your own comping news and advice.
