Although I haven't been entering as many comps as I had hoped now that the children are back into their school routine, I've still managed to scoop some wins - a hardback book from Instagram and a family ticket to Hever Castle in Kent. I'm not sure where that win came from but it's very much appreciated as it will give me a lovely family day out for free.
And talking of days out, take a look at the Simply Prizes website
where you will find hundreds of comps for things like that plus plenty more prizes such as holidays, toys, beauty products and more!
Plus take a look at the comp I've found for you this week; Buyagift is offering you the chance to win an iPad and a short break of your choice worth up to £400. Just enter your details here
by 27th September to be in with a shot. Good luck!
For those of you that collect coins in old bottles or jars, or have children with piggy banks, make sure you dig out the 'old' £1 coins as from the 15th October they will no longer be accepted in shops. However, after this date you should still be able to deposit any old £1 coins into your high street bank according to The Royal Mint website
. Personally I think I might use mine and grab a few lucky dips on the Thunderball!
As we are still only in September and the weather is still suitable for lovely days out take a look at Doors Open Days
which is Scotland's largest free festival that celebrates heritage and the built environment. It offers free access to over a thousand venues across the country throughout September. And also Wales celebrates a similar thing which is part of the Welsh Government's historic environment service
Also be sure to head on over to our Facebook page
where you will find a selection of competitions; it's also a wonderful comping community where you can chat to other compers and share your own comping news and advice.
