Make the most of the quieter comping months!

We've been blessed with some extremely hot weather here in Kent over the last week and there is still more to come according to the forecast! Which means it's a bit of a bonus for us compers. Want to know why? Well a lot more people will be enjoying the 'British Summer' so make the most of the fact that generally during the summer months entries can be lower! People out and about in the sun and jetting off on their hols means they don't have as much time to comp. Concentrate on shorter closing promotions (such as the Freebie Friday ones) as ones that run for a longer period will probably still accumulate as many entries as normal. But if you do still want to go out and make the most of the sun, good for you, as there will still be plenty of comps around after the summer! So take a break as often that can do us compers the world of good too.

 
However, if the hotter weather has you running for a cool dark room and a fan then make the most of our website , a new batch of competitions were added yesterday that will be easy to enter whilst taking a break from the sun. You'll find a whole host of prizes up for grabs and being the summer there are always plenty of promoters offering you the chance to win holidays, days out and things for the garden!
 
Now take a look at the comp I've found to share with you all this week; the Independent School Parent is offering you the chance to win a three night break for you and up to five friends in a luxury lodge at one of Away Resorts fabulous self-catering parks. All you need to do is just state which park you'd like to stay at and enter your details here before 23.59 on 30th June to be in with a chance. That's the summer holiday sorted, right?
 
Krispy Kreme is offering buy one get one free on any of their milkshakes every Monday through to 3rd July. You just need to download their Krispy Kreme Friends app which is available through the app store or google play. Once you're signed up you'll have access to exclusive competitions and other offers like this too. Can't beat an ice-cold milkshake in the sun!
 
McDonalds have partnered with the four UK Football Associations where you will have access to a free Community Football Day which will aim to deliver fun activities for the whole family. You can find your local event here .
 
If you have children then you'll know the summer break is looming! Take a look at the National Citizen Service program. It is designed for 15-17 year olds and is a four week stint that allows them to live away from home, develop skills to boost their CV and meet amazing people along the way. Thanks to government backing, the most you'll ever pay for this unbeatable experience is £50, but this cost could be less or even free depending on your circumstances and local NCS provider.
