I love comping, but as with everything some people want to take advantage. And I’ve just been made aware of a service that doesn’t look right.
It’s called Prizehook.com. One of their customers called us and asked for help cancelling their subscription. We did what we could but as it’s nothing to do with us, other than suggesting they raise a complaint with PayPal and cancel on their site, there was little we could do.
I’ve emailed them to ask about the service, but everything on the web I could find is negative.
Please email us with ‘Prize Hook’ in the subject line if you have any experience of them: email@example.com.
I’ll let you know what they say to me and other readers' experiences. They could be completely above board and my suspicions are wrong but I’ll let you know.
If you want to enter loads more competitions for far less than Prize Hook asks then give Simply Prizes a go. We find over 300 brand-new competitions every week and coming up in Tuesday’s update is the chance to win £20,000 toward your mortgage or rent, £10,000 for a home makeover, a bespoke experience for your child worth £5,000, a family break in the Lake District and the chance for one of your children to be a zookeeper for the day.
And we even offer a three-month no quibble money-back guarantee so if for any reason you don’t think Simply Prizes has helped you win more competitions we will refund all your subscription money. We can’t be fairer than that.
