I have had a slow week with the comping and have struggled to motivate myself to even enter any; it's probably to do with the fact that my emails are still in their thousands. So, I've decided to do what some of you mentioned on the Simply Prizes Facebook page last week - and that is to use the search bar with 'winner' and 'congratulations', delete the rest and hope for the best! Nothing like starting afresh! And then that way I will be able to comp without feeling like I should be sorting my inbox.
And talking of comping, take a look at the Simply Prizes website
this week and you will find hundreds of comps for things like holidays, cash, short breaks, home and garden goodies, plus plenty more! And if you're not yet a member you can trial the service free for 14 days to make sure you like it!
Also, take a look at the comp I've found for you; Chic Retreats and BohoBetty are offering you the chance to win two-nights in Cornwall and £400 worth of beachwear and accessories. It's a prize worth over £650 and all you have to do is enter your details here
. Good luck!
I just had to go through the painful task of MOT'ing my car, and every year I write on my calendar when it is due. But did you know that you can sign up to an annual MOT reminder through the gov.uk
website? You'll just need your reg number and an email or mobile number and it takes less than a minute. It's worth doing as not having a current MOT carries fines of up to £1,000.
Talking of transport, be sure to keep an eye on advance train tickets as these can be bought 12 weeks ahead of travel and if you are going away for Christmas it can help towards the cost. You can sign up to the Trainline ticket alert
and National Rail
has a future travel chart which shows you how far in advance you can purchase train tickets.
Plus, be sure to head on over to our Facebook page
where you will find a selection of competitions; it's also a wonderful comping community where you can chat to other compers and share your own comping news and advice.
