Treat your kitchen to a £10,000 makeover!
Still no wins in October for me and with half term looming the comping might take a bit of a back seat. We’re planning on going pumpkin picking this coming weekend so I will take some pictures of our carved pumpkins ready for any photo Halloween comps that I come across. Plus, it’s a fun activity to do with the kids which will keep them amused for a few hours!

It’s been a slow start to October for me prize wise but I have been making a real effort to enter lots of competitions so I am keeping my fingers crossed for some wins soon. There are a range of great prizes around at the moment as promoters ramp it up for Halloween and dare I say it…Christmas! That’s right, as far as I am concerned, for a comper this prep starts now! Especially if you’re looking for a festive break away, I’ve spotted a few lovely ones of these already.
I had a few more wins last week that rounded September off nicely; which prize wise turned out to be a pretty good month! I think my favourite was a £250 cash win from an Instagram comp, although all the bits that I’ve accrued for my Christmas box have been gratefully received too!
I had a surprise win of some cross-stitching goodies turn up in the post and although I am not that crafty myself it will be another prize that can go straight into the Christmas box. It’s building up quite nicely as September has been pretty good to me so far. And don’t forget the end of the month is looming which means lots more competitions!
I had another two wins last week; a signed book from Twitter and a bundle of books from the Book People. The first one I shall keep for myself but the second lot are going into my Christmas box for the nephew. And I finally went on my winning champagne afternoon tea on Saturday; a group of us hit Covent Garden and got the star treatment in a private dining room at The Balthazar. It was heaven!
