I’ve been an extremely lucky girl this week and managed to scoop a £2,000 voucher from a Red Online comp to spend at MultiYork Furniture! I’ve decided on treating us to a new sofa, so as much as hubby was pleased with the win, I think he may be dreading the decorating that I’ve decided needs to happen now!

Keeping with the ‘home’ feel, I’ve found some fab competitions to smarten and brighten up your home.

Yours.co.uk has a stylish ceiling fan worth £762 up for grabs! Simply register or log in to enter. Closing date 24 August.

Woman and Home have an amazing £500 to spend online at Topps Tiles. Answer the following question and enter your details; In what year was Topps Tiles founded? Answer – 1963.

Closing date midnight on 25 August.

Design Hunter has £100 available to spend with them. Simply head over to their online shop, and then enter by telling them what you would spend the money on.

Closing date 25 August.

Most people will already be aware of the price comparison site mysupermarket.com. They have recently introduced a new feature, which enables shoppers to be paid money every time they buy an item from the ‘cash-back’ shelf. They aim to pay the money back into your PayPal account within a week. And although there aren’t many cash-back offers on everyday essentials at the moment, a spokesman for the company has said that he expects the offers to more than double by the end of the year.

Check out haveyouseen.com, a site that enables you to earn money simply by sharing a bargain you’ve bagged with friends. You simply paste the link of the item you’ve bought into their site or share details with friends via social media or email. Then when someone buys the product via your link you earn commission (usually around 5%) which you can then transfer into your PayPal or bank account.

Another great site to look at is dealzippy.co.uk. It enables you to access the largest selection of daily deals in just one place and get a simple email tailored to you. It gathers all the best offers from sites like Groupon, Wowcher and Savvy Mummys which then saves you the time and hassle of having to look through them all. You can either shop by category or get an overview of what’s being offered on the most popular sites. Although this isn’t a new site, they have recently expanded it, so it’s well worth taking a look!

Have a great week. I’m off on my hols tomorrow, so I’ll be writing to you next week from sunny (fingers crossed) Devon!
