I call it child cruelty...
Child cruelty I would call it, but for some people winning the full Man Utd kit for their offspring would be a great prize. It reminds me of when my sister bought her son a Blackburn fan, the Man Utd away top because she thought it 'looked nice'. The poor lad had to wear it to keep her happy (and take it off as soon as he got outside the house). When I explained the error of her ways, she just looked at me blankly and muttered something about 'being silly'. So that Christmas I bought my nephew the Blackburn top and my sister still couldn't understand why he thought it was so good and always wanted to wear it.
Holidays galore and the ultimate car lovers' prize...
I don’t know where to start, there are so many great competitions this week… When I was younger (and go on, I’ll admit it even now) I always thought that the Caterham 7 had to be one of the coolest cars around, not as posh as a Ferrari or Aston Martin, but there was something ‘more real’ about it. Like many things in my life, I unfortunately have never had one, but this week you and I have the chance to win one. I never thought I’d see one as a competition prize, so I’m gobsmacked
Is this a fight between promoters to offer the best prize?
The research team have done a fantastic job (once again), with this week’s issue and found an amazing selection of competitions for you. I’m sure you kitchen has taken as much of a battering as ours during lockdown, just think how much you could put right with £10,000 to spend on a new kitchen. After freezing for most of the bank holiday, I had definitely decided that an early Autumn was on the way, but my kids tell me that September is meant to be warm
How does a weekend away cost £5,000?
I don’t know if it’s the idea of the kids going back to school after so long at home or the rubbish weather but I seem to have switched off from summer and it’s not even the end of August yet. I normally love summer and hate the idea of autumn so I’m going to try and get myself back into a summer groove by imagining warm summer evenings with a brand new Kamado BBQ & Grill worth £459. I’ve mentioned a couple of comps where I’m not sure how a promoter decides what a ‘year’s supply’ can be
Cars, holidays and cash, just what a comper wants...
What a contrast, the first comp I see is for a relaxing break at Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa, which as the possibility of the kids going back to school comes closer would be a great way to celebrate. Then there’s an Everest Base Camp trek, I can’t imagine two such different holidays. Even in today’s strange times, I’m tempted with this. I can’t see there being too many people going to Nepal at the moment
