What an amazing list of prizes
We’ve just passed 800 Advent Competitions, and this is before round 2 starts around the 12th, so we should smash our 1,000 target this year. Remember after the first mad rush of people entering at the weekend, the number of people entering will drop off, which is great for us, more chance of winning and the prizes get better the further we get into December.
What you could win for Christmas
All of a sudden it seems that Christmas is upon us; houses are getting lit up, the temperature has plummeted and today’s update is full of Christmas-themed comps. If you want to get away there’s the chance to win - Tickets to Edward Scissorhands and a hotel stay in London, a festive trip for two in London, a family ticket to see the Evolution drone light show at Wolverhampton Racecourse, a family ticket to Aladdin at King George's Hall, a festive London trip to Kingdom of Winter
Could this be a better me?
As Lizzie will tell you, I’m not the world’s best-dressed man but there are two chances for me to improve my image this week with a Toast wish-list up for grabs and an Autumn bundle worth over £4,000 on offer. But even if she would like to see me better dressed, I know Lizzie would prefer if I won the £25,000 kitchen! I’d be content with the iPhone, Sony headphones, an Apple Watch and a Sim Package
The best Christmas present you’ll ever give yourself
With the clocks going forward and it getting dark so early it really feels like winter is closing in, and the only good thing about it is Christmas! Well, that’s not strictly true as there are Advent competitions before then, we are starting our research now and hope to publish a record 1,000 comps this year. Don’t forget you get access to all the Advent competitions as part of your normal membership. Just look out for more details from me soon.
The best Christmas present you’ll ever give yourself
This is one of those ‘am I too old?’ moments that I’m having far too often now. I like Kaiser Chiefs' music, but they formed long after any illusions of youth had left me. That means most of the audience at a gig would be far, far younger than me, so do I really want to win tickets to see them? And while we are talking about going to see live music there are also tickets for ABBA Voyage up for grabs. Now I secretly also like Abba but I’m not sure if I like the idea of going to see holograms sing.
