A prize draw where everyone’s a winner…read on for more info!

 

As we head into the second week of March I’m concentrating hard on trying to win the prize that is at the top of my wish list – a weekend away! Seeing as I celebrate a special birthday this month it would be nice to top it off with a few days away. And as we also have Easter early this year too and with the kiddies school holiday (already?!) coming up it could be a good way to combine amusing them for free! There are usually a few creative ones around at this time of the year and children are pretty willing participants in helping; it is another great way to keep them happy for a few hours especially if there might be a reward at the end of it. My children break up from school again in just a few weeks and I’m already trying to compile a list of things we can do that aren’t going to break the bank. If you’re lucky enough to head into the capital over the Easter hols then check out the following museums all of which offer free entry; Bank of England Museum, The British Museum, Geffrye Museum, London Transport Museum, Museum of London, National Maritime Museum, National History Museum, Science Museum and V&A Museum of Childhood. And if you manage to win a hotel stay you’ve pretty much guaranteed a very cheap few days away!

 

If the weather stays dry then getting out in the garden at this time of the year is a great way to while away a few hours; check out Thomson & Morgan and their clearance sale where you could pick up some fantastic bargains.
