Phew, what a weekend I had! Combined with my youngest daughter’s sixth birthday (which was lovely); the kids’ pet rabbit died and credit card fraud hit us to the sum of £1,700, so it was eventful to say the least. After that, I’m hoping that this week will do an about turn and bring us some good luck. The sun is shining here in Kent so that’s a good start and I’ve worked out it’s only just over seven weeks until my holiday. If you’re a regular Twitter user on an Apple device, then beware of it eating into your mobile data! Twitter has launched auto-play where as you scroll down your screen it automatically plays any videos listed (including adverts) without you hitting any play button to watch them. Obviously watching videos will use your data allowance so it’s worth going into your settings on Twitter and turning the auto-play function off. This hasn’t been rolled out to Android devices yet but it is coming so keep an eye on it.

 

For the summer only, Nectar Rewards has launched some new deals for visiting Pizza Express and Vue cinemas. From today you can grab yourself two pizzas or two cinema tickets for just 1,000 points (which is the equivalent of £5). It’s valid until the 11^th August and you can get more information here.
