Happy New Year to you all! I’ve been hearing from some of you about how you all fared in the madness of the advents; it’s been great to find out that you’ve been doing so well. I was pretty pleased with my lot too, so a big well done to all of us. A new year usually brings resolutions; I’ve a few of my own – all comping based of course! The mobile phone network provider O2 offer Priority Moments which includes fantastic bespoke deals on gig tickets, restaurant vouchers, freebies and much more. This is only open to O2 customers who have to download a special app which is available free from Apple’s App Store, Android Marketplace and Blackberry. However, if you’re not an O2 customer there is a way to take advantage of this. You can order a FREE sim card from them and provided you have an ‘unlocked’ mobile (which you can get done fairly cheaply nowadays and means your phone will work on any network) you can make use of O2 Priority Moments. Just insert your sim into your phone when you want to access the app to make the most of any deals.

I’ve just been lucky enough to bag myself a £29 hotel room in the Premier Inn Spring Sale at a hotel that I stay at fairly regularly and usually charges well over £100. Although this sale is limited it’s worth signing up to their newsletter as they always email when the sale is due to start and run them frequently throughout the year.
