The family and I jetted off to Menorca last Friday, so I’m writing this pool side whilst watching the kids play and trying not to get the laptop wet! The weather here is rather gorgeous and the villa is just beautiful. We’ve enjoyed the beach a few times but the children love the pool so much that we’ve mainly just had lazy days chilling at the villa. A few sangrias have been enjoyed at a local bar alongside some very tasty Spanish tapas (the diet starts next week)!

Whilst the weather is still decent and you can still enjoy plenty of days out, using Tesco Clubcard vouchers in exchange for tickets to a variety of attractions is a really good way to make savings. You can get up to four times the voucher’s face value which can save you up to 75% on entrance fees. Take a look at the Clubcard deal’s here.
Â
As we edge closer to a new school year, have a look at the Royal Opera House. Students can become friends, which is completely free, and can be set on the road to bagging £10 student standby tickets to The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera. When tickets (ranging in price from £25 - £200) go unsold you will be emailed a link and a code to use. The email is usually sent a minimum of 24 hours in advance but you’ll need to be quick as savings like these are snapped up in no time.
Â
That’s it for this week from sunny Spain, but I’ll be back next Wednesday in good old Blighty with some more great comps and special offers. Stay lucky!
