How you can get discounted stamps for your postal competition entries!

I bagged a prize through a Twitter competition last week, which was the first time I’ve won on there in over a year. I was almost close to giving up doing those re-tweets! I enter approximately 50 or so competitions that way every week but my success rate is not very good at all. I shall persevere now I’ve won again though. Other than that it’s been a bit of a dry week – so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for some more March wins before the month is out.

With spring here now and hopefully the nicer weather I’ve started to think about days out with the family. I’ve found some great competitions this week that should help with that.

Axa Self Investor has three lots of £1,000 to give away – that could provide you with the funds for plenty of days outs! Simply enter your details here by midnight on 5^th April.

C2C Rail is offering an Adventure Island (Southend) annual pass to two lucky winners; it will give you 12 months of unlimited fun and 20% off at all Adventure Island family outlets and a £5 arcade gamecard. To get your name in the draw submit your details here by 23.45 on 12^th April.

Ticketmaster has a fantastic competition for one lucky person to win a £1,000 mini day out. Answer the following question by midnight on 13^th April here to be in with a chance; on Minimaster, who's taking over? Answer – C. The kids.

For those of you that enjoy entering postal competitions I found a website last week when I was buying some stamps that offers a discount on Royal Mail’s prices. My stamps arrived within a couple of days and I was really happy with the service. Check out discounted stamps here. And if you need some postcards for those stamps to stick to then take a look at The Postcard Store; they sell a variety of unusual postcards for really reasonable prices.

Gardeners World magazine’s May issue will have a 2 for 1 entry card to use when visiting some of the most famous gardens around the UK. The magazine isn’t on sale until the end of April but you can sign up here for five issues for a fiver.

Virgin Experience Days has an offer on its Spa Retreat and Afternoon Tea for Two - this was £79, currently reduced down to £39, saving you 50%. You can purchase this here and take a look at their other current offers.

That’s it for this week, but I’ll be back next Wednesday with some more great comps and special offers. Stay lucky!
