Celebrate National Curry Week with this week's foodie-inspired competitions!

I won a beauty product on an instant win last week. Those types of prizes always give a buzz as you find out straight away if you've won; which is great for me as I am very impatient! I'm starting to try my hand at purchase needed comps too - I'd got out of that over the summer months but a lot of the promoters offer pretty decent prizes and if it's a product you need it can be worth a shot. Take a look at the new Simply Prizes website and in the coming months you'll find video blogs and handy tips from me about things like this alongside hundreds of comps and exclusive in-house subscriber promotions.

With it being National Curry Week I've found some foodie inspired competitions for us all to try our luck at!

Albert Bartlett is giving away a curry masterclass for two including an overnight stay in a luxury hotel. Enter here before 23.59 on 29th October.

Sainsbury's Magazine has 20 beautiful Marshmallow gift boxes and a copy of the new book All Things Marshmallow up for grabs. For your chance to win one simply submit your details here before midnight on 28th October.

Visit Brighton is offering one lucky person the opportunity to win an evening meal for two at acclaimed vegetarian restaurant Food for Friends plus a two-night stay for two people at Jury's Inn Brighton. Just enter here by 30th October.

Papa John's has introduced a Two for Tuesday deal where you can get one pizza and another absolutely free (up to the same value) every Tuesday. The minimum order must be £10.99 - take a look at their website here.

Argos now offers a same day delivery on in stock items if ordered before 6pm for just £3.95. Valid seven-days a week with a four delivery slot option up until 10pm this could be a life-saver leading up to Christmas. Find out more here.

If you are planning on visiting family or friends over the Christmas period and are thinking of travelling by train then make sure you look at purchasing your tickets as soon as possible. National Rail has timetables set 12 weeks in advance and so cheap tickets are usually released around this time too. You can sign up to The Trainline's ticket alert system which will let you know when cheap advance tickets become available for the journey details you entered. National Rail also has a helpful future travel chart on its website which allows you to check how far in advance you can purchase tickets with each rail company.

That's it for this week, but I'll be back next Wednesday with some more great comps and special offers. Stay lucky!
