I know March is meant to 'come in like a lion and leave like a lamb', but I'm always disappointed in the weather. Normally I'm an optimistic type, but I've had enough of winter and want summer (let's just skip spring).

As a family we've also always enjoyed summer picnics, whether in a National Trust place or a spot we've found ourselves. Interestingly the Spa Day is down as a Mother's Day comp, when I first saw it, I assumed it was just one of the many holiday comps we are starting to see. I reckon that after two years of lockdown this could be a bumper year for holiday comps. We've already started to see more than usual and I hope they just keep on coming.
