Last week I won a wooden car construction set which I am planning on putting aside for Barnaby’s birthday in June, and yesterday I won a Twitter comp for a really lovely reed diffuser set which I’m going to stick in my new conservatory. For anyone that knows me, they will know how surprised I am at that prize because I rarely win on Twitter! Now this week I need to try and be ultra-organised and get ahead on my comps as I am off on a winning holiday next week. Me and the family are staying in a lovely lodge near York; and internet signal permitting I will share some photos with you via our Facebook page so keep your eyes peeled for those.
And talking of holidays, have you seen the comps listed on our website
? You can win a family holiday to the Isle of Wight, a trip to Florida, alongside some fabulous weekends away plus lots of other lovely goodies up for grabs. And with the website updated every Monday, Wednesday and Friday you can be sure to always have loads of great comps ready to enter.
Now take a look at the comp I’ve found to share with you all this week; Go Ape in conjunction with Skye Cottages are giving you the chance to win your ideal getaway – so whether you fancy a cosy bolthole or a luxurious base there are thousands of properties to choose from! Simply enter your details here
by June 1st to get your name in the draw. Good luck.
It’s half term here in Kent next week and I know other parts of the country will also be enjoying a week’s peace from school; but it leaves us parents often scrabbling around for ideas to amuse the kids! So take a look at this
– Junior Game Creators offer free memberships for your children to sign up to that enables them to do a free online coding course. Each month they upload new content which includes a new project to work on. You can get more information and register here
. They’ve also got workshops for May half term that you can book your children into; these do carry fees but you can get more info here
And if you are in London, can day-trip there or are planning on having a few days away then check out the Olympic Park
. It is free to enter and is open all year round, 24 hours a day. From Thursday through to Sunday there is a free festival called Make the Future Live where you will be able to experience bright ideas from school children, students, entrepreneurs and industries who have come together to explore what a lower-carbon energy future might look like. It will be packed with celebrity guest appearances, live performances, immersive experiences and more and won’t cost a penny to enjoy!
Also be sure to head on over to our Facebook page
where you will find a selection of competitions; it’s also a wonderful comping community where you can chat to other compers and share your own comping news and advice.
