With many of us enjoying half-term with the children this week I’ve found a great rainy-day activity to amuse the little people in your life.

 

The Big Issue is looking for children aged 13 and under to design their Christmas cover. The covers can take on any form just as long as it is festive!

 

The winning entry will be the cover of The Big Issue published on December 7; the Christmas issue is usually their biggest selling issue.

 

The closing date is 20^th November and you need to post your entry to Christmas Cover Competition, The Big Issue, 43 Bath Street, Glasgow G2 1HW. Ensure you include a name, age, address and telephone/email contact on your entry. Unfortunately they can’t return any of the pictures.

 

In addition to starring on the cover, the winner and two runners-up will also receive shoes from their sponsors – Young Soles. First prize winner will receive a voucher for £150, second prize £100 and third prize £50.
