School’s out…not again!

I’m starting to see a trickle of prizes come in now that I am back into comping regularly – this last week I’ve received a children’s book and also a family ticket to a nearby attraction. It’s a shame that neither prizes had compliment slips with them as I always like to say thank you on social media, but I actually have no idea where I won them from! I think expressing your gratitude publicly is a nice way to encourage companies to run more promotions!

Now although the children have only just gone back to school, I’m already noticing competitions running for the October half-term week. It’s always pretty handy to win ‘stuff’ or ‘trips’ to help cover the expense of doing things with the children. I’ve included a selection for you this week to try your luck at.

The Suffolk Coast has a week's family holiday to the beautiful maritime town of Woodbridge up for grabs; a fantastic, family half-term break from 23rd to 30th October 2015. To enter simply complete your details here before 8pm on 30^th September.

Vegetarian Living is giving you the chance to win a week-long family holiday in Devon using a gorgeously kitted out lotus white VW Westfalia Campmobile. You can take the prize any time before September 2016 subject to availability. Submit your details here and answer the following question before 11.59pm on 25^th September.

Caboodle is giving away a bundle of 10 children’s books; perfect for those rainy days. Just enter your details here by 15^th October.

Laterooms are already offering deals for October half-term; with breaks from as little as £28. And if you book one of their selected hotels you’ll also nab yourself a £5 Amazon voucher. Terms and conditions apply and you can get more information and browse the offers here. Prices are valid until 31^st October but as with all good deals, it is best to book as early as you can.

You can grab a free Wilkinson razor worth £8.99 for completing this very short survey here. Just ensure when you are entering your details that you are not a current user of Wilkinson Sword Hydro 5 razor, have visited at least one social media site in the past month, comment on Facebook regularly and haven’t participated in a product trial more than five or more times in the last year. If these don’t apply to you, you won’t qualify for the freebie.

There is still time for a Legoland adventure before they close their doors for the winter. And not only that; but their current offer of ‘kids go free’ include selected dates for October half term. You will need to book before 30^th September to qualify. Take a look here for availability and details on how to book.

That’s it for this week, but I’ll be back next Wednesday with more great comps and special offers. Stay lucky!
