I’ve had another fantastic few days on the comping front, notching up five more wins. One of those included £100 on the Thunderball, which has come just at the right time what with the kiddies being off for half-term. And having been blessed with a few days of sunshine, we’ve managed to do lots of free activities so the cash is still sitting nicely in my purse (waiting for that rainy day)!
With a certain scary day gracing us with its presence on Friday, I’ve found some last minute Halloween comps for you all. All require a little bit of effort, but often these make for fewer entries, so it’s definitely worth a go.
This is closing soon, but is a fantastic opportunity to win a fabulous family holiday to Mexico! Heart is building up a special Halloween Book of Life story book and is looking for your family photos. All fun, upbeat Halloween family pics will be entered into a draw to win a week’s break in Cancun. Submit your photo and details here by 2nd November.

If you’re a bit of a dab hand in the kitchen and fancy bagging yourself a nifty Terracotta KitchenAid worth £429, then get your apron on. Goodtoknow are looking for your best spooky Halloween food creations. There are three different entry methods and you need to submit your photo by 12pm on 5th November. To enter you can follow them on Twitter @goodtoknow or @GTKrecipes and then tweet them your picture (#GTKHalloweenfood must be included). You can share your image on the goodtoknow or goodtoknow Recipes Facebook pages. Again you must include #GTKHalloweenfood in your post. Or alternatively you can email your picture to goodtoknowrecipes@ipcmedia.com with the subject line "GTK Halloween food".

Win a Playstation 4 and The Evil Within game by submitting your best zombie selfie! SFX has teamed up with Argos to offer this great prize to one lucky person. To enter simply upload your zombie selfies to Instagram, Twitter or Facebook – and don’t forget to hashtag #argoszombiesps4. The closing date is midnight on 14th November.
If you are off with the kiddies this week and anywhere near the London area, then check out Hamleys – they have lots going on to keep the little ones entertained. The chance to meet Fireman Sam and Hello Kitty are a few of the things they have planned; take a look here to find out more.
So, if you are thinking of taking a trip into the big smoke and making a day of it, then The View From The Shard should be on your agenda too. With every adult ticket purchased (£25 if booked 24 hours in advance) they are offering two free child tickets (usually £19 each); valid until 2 November. You’re given a 30 minute time-slot when you book, but you can stay as long as you want. It’s best to book online if you are able to as phone bookings (0844 499 7111) incur a £1.75 fee. Alongside this, Cadburys are taking over until 31st October and there will be a giant, spooky spider's web at the viewing gallery of The Shard to celebrate Halloween.
Â
Don’t forget Cineworld, Vue and Odeon cinemas all offer discounted tickets for school holiday morning screenings. Subject to availability and timings, it’s best to check out their websites for further information.

Have a great week. Stay lucky and don’t forget to keep in touch!
