Spring is in the air – some great comps for the home and garden!

So after a pretty successful February, March isn’t keeping up! I’m yet to win a single thing – although the hubby did win £50 on a scratch card so I shouldn’t complain too much. But my lack of wins is demotivating me and I had a weekend free of competitions; which means I really need to pull my finger out this week and get back into the swing of things.

It’s around this time of year that we all start thinking about the longer, warmer days and getting out into the garden. And with the sun putting in an appearance over the last few days, that time can’t be too far off, so this week’s comps should help you get your home and garden ready for the onset of the summer months.

Meg Rivers has a prize draw to win a £200 voucher for Rockett St George where you can purchase all sorts of expressive and quirky homeware. Enter your details here by 31st March.

Dualit has a lovely Cornishware iconic blue and white stripe breakfast set up for grabs; the set includes four mugs, four cereal bowls, a Dreadnought jug and a stripy teapot - perfect for those relaxing sunny mornings in the garden. Answer the following question here by 31st March; How many slices of toast can a 4 slot Lite Toaster produce an hour? Answer – 120.

London24 is offering one lucky winner £200 worth of B&Q vouchers to spend on their home. Answer the following question here by midday on 1st April; what does DIY stand for? Answer - B) Do it yourself.

If you buy yourself April’s issue of Marie Claire magazine you’ll be able to bag yourself a bottle of Nails Inc nail varnish worth £11 – there are four colours available which are Fizz (baby pink), Fashion (lilac), Fiesta (hot pink) and Festival (brown).

March is free wills month in England, where anyone 55 or over can get a will drafted for free by a participating solicitor. Wills can be costly so this is definitely worth looking at. You can get more information here via the Free Wills Month website.

I’ve booked myself a ferry trip with P&O and managed to get their £24 day trip which gives me six bottles of wine (on the outbound journey) too. You need to use the code DIRECTDT when booking and travel must be completed by 25th March. Take a look here for more information and to book.

Argos has some great deals on jewellery if you still need to purchase a last minute gift for Mother’s Day. Some are as much as half price – you can browse the offers here.

Lidl also has some pretty good deals on its flowers, with prices starting from as little as £2! So another good place to drop by for a last minute gift.

That’s it for this week, but I’ll be back next Wednesday with some more great comps and special offers. Stay lucky!
