November has been a really slow month comping wise for me; I've had a couple of surprise book wins but that has been it. I'm still entering all the comps that I usually do and hopefully at some point my luck will change! And with the start of the advents in just over a week the comping will really ramp up. I've even seen some promoters already start advent-style competitions, which is much earlier than usual. There are some doing the rounds on Facebook
at the moment, so if you have an account then you can always search for early running advent competitions in the search bar. I would suggest using the hashtag #advent (or similar) and see what it brings up. And don't forget you still have time to register for ourAdvent Competitions
website - all completely free and guaranteed to bring you the very best list of advent comps around. If you're not a Simply Prizes
, Coffee Break Winner
or Competition Club
member (where you're already signed up!), just visit the Advent Competitions 2016 website
and register your details. You'll then receive an email from us shortly with more information and you'll be good to go when the advents start on 1st December.
Now onto this week's competitions and the chance to win a winter break away- good luck all!
Heart Radio is offering you the chance to win a winter weekend away with Southeastern trains. Log in/register and answer the following question here
before 23.59 on 4th December; where would you find the Royal Observatory? Suggested answer - Greenwich.
The Telegraph has a ten-night trip to Utah and Eider outfits worth £10,500 up for grabs. Just enter your details here
before midnight on 2nd December.
The Suffolk Coast and Greater Anglia are giving away a fabulous three-night stay for up to five people with Suffolk Secrets at Woodpeckers luxury holiday cottage in Southwold, worth £615 and a personal shopping experience complete with £150 to spend at Collen & Clare! Simply submit your details here
before 20.00 on 7th December.
The Royal Mail
is offering their free letter from Santa service once again. The kiddies need to make sure they write their letters and send them before 9th December to ensure they receive a reply (although in the t&c's the Royal Mail say they can't guarantee a reply but this seems to have run well over the last few years). The address they need is Santa/Father Christmas, Santa's Grotto, Reindeerland, XM4 5HQ with a stamp attached!
Keep an eye on the Portable North Pole website
too as you can create free personalised video messages from Santa. It's not open for use yet but will be soon!
And from 1st December the Norad site
will be open and ready for business once again. This is where you can track Santa on Christmas Eve and there is always lots of fun games the children can play too.
As always keep an eye on my blog
over at Simply Prizes
for more competition news and videos.
That's it for this week, but I'll be back next Wednesday with some more great comps and special offers.
