Bag yourself a luxury holiday worth thousands!

I’m currently in the New Forest on a big family holiday, staying in a gorgeous lodge with Hoseasons. There’s a spa on site for us ladies and loads of activities for the kiddies. The hubby and Dad have even managed to sneak in a round of golf! I’m a bit dry on the winning front as to be honest since the kids have broken up I’ve just not managed to get many comps entered at all; so once we’re back from our hols I really do need to try and play a bit of catch up!

Being in the holiday mood I’ve found some fantastic ‘get away from it all’ comps for you to enter.

Family Traveller has a holiday to Florida worth a whopping £7,000 to give away - to be in with a chance of winning answer the following question here; How many miles is it to drive from Miami to St. Petersburg/Clearwater? Answer – 260. The closing date is 23.59 on 31st August.

Asda is offering one lucky family the trip of a lifetime to Hollywood for 10 nights with £1,000 spending money thrown in. Not only that, but the lucky winner will also bag themselves a Sony 20MP LCD HD Camcorder. To enter simply submit your details here by 31st August.

Molton Brown has one of three luxury holidays up for grabs so you could be jetting off to the Maldives, New York or Barcelona! Enter your details here by 23.59 on 7th September to get your name in the draw.

Get yourself over to Simply Bingo and into their Thrifty Thursday game tomorrow! Available to play from 6pm – midnight, the super value night has been well and truly re-vamped with a massive £20K added to the prize pot! And for Bank Holiday Monday they will be hosting a £20K Bank Holiday Roll On BingoLinx game. For more information click here.

I’ve just recently booked next year’s holiday so I have started searching around for some decent travel insurance quotes. Money Supermarket compares quite a few insurers but misses out some pretty big ones like Aviva and Direct Line. Confused.com also allows you to compare quotes from up to 44 different companies. A lot of people can get free cover via their bank account; but these are only really okay if you don’t have pre-existing medical conditions. It’s worth doing a Google search to see if it brings up any companies you may have overlooked.

And the Government has extensive advice for travellers here which is really worth taking a look at as it contains all the most up to date information you need when travelling abroad.

Have a great week. Stay lucky and don’t forget to keep in touch!
